How white can my Teeth get:

Your teeth can change about two or three shades and that can make a noticeable difference in almost anyone's smile. Our goal is to help you achieve your individual optimum whiteness while still looking natural as possible. How much your teeth can be whitened depends on many factors such as your natural tooth color or how well your teeth respond to whitening and othe factors such as the active ingredients used to whiten the teeth.

 Care

Good oral hygiene is essential for anyone who wants whiter teeth. Brushing, flossing and using mouthwash are all excellent ways to take care of your teeth and help prevent stains from forming.

It is important to wait at least 30 minutes before brushing, after eating and drinking. Acids from food weaken tooth enamel and brushing teeth when enamel is in its weakened state can damage teeth.

 Treating sensitivity after whitening

Sometimes after whitening treatments, teeth can be sensitive. It is important to NOT to whiten teeth when you cavities as this can increase the pain.

  • Use a sensitivity toothpaste – sensitive toothpastes are formulated with ingredientsto relieve the pain associated with tooth sensitivity
  • Chew gum – More saliva is produced when chewing gum. And the act of chewing may distract people from the pain.
  • Avoid whitening for a while – give your teeth a break and stop using whitening products or reduce the percentage of the active ingredients in the whitening material.
  • Use the after care products that came with the whitening material.
